Our team at Pioneer Programs goes above and beyond to meet the needs of each student in our school. Each brings their own skills, expertise, and experience to the daily task of educating our students and teaching skills that will last a lifetime.
A.J. Genovese
CEO
A.J. attended the University of California at San Diego where he earned his Bachelors in Psychology. He received training as a behavior consultant and has tutored children in the areas of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Allie DeNatale
Program Director
Allie received her Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorder from Endicott College in Beverly, MA. She became a BCBA in 2018, moved to San Diego, and has worked in school/ clinical settings ever since.
Kelly Bayes
Assistant Program Director
Kelly dual majored in Special and General Education and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Providence College. She began her teaching career in Brooklyn, NY at a specialized elementary school for children with Autism.
Dawn Comer
Human Resources
Dawn earned a BA in English Literature from San Diego State University and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Cal State San Marcos. She started her teaching career in middle school, specializing in Language Arts and Social Studies. After taking time off to raise her children, she returned to work in the Non-Public School Sector. At Pioneer Programs, she enjoys a balanced role, serving as a substitute teacher while also applying her skills in Human Resources, Bookkeeping, and Business to support the school's mission of promoting success for both students and staff in all settings.
Emily Riddle
Administrative Assistant
As the Administrative Assistant, Emily focuses on running the front desk for both schools. She is usually the first person you meet when visiting our campuses and is an integeral part of keeping our office organizing and running smoothly.
